Dana Fortini
Dana Fortini serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Collagen Advocacy Network (CAN), bringing extensive experience in marketing strategy, financial services, and cross-functional leadership to the organization.
Professionally, Dana is a strategic marketing leader with experience developing and leading customer engagement and growth strategies across complex and highly-regulated organizations. She has held leadership roles at companies including Citi and American Express. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Dana’s commitment to disability advocacy extends beyond her work with CAN. She has held leadership roles within disability-focused employee resource groups at Citi and SoFi, helping to advance awareness, inclusion, accessibility, and community for employees with disabilities. She has also contributed her experience to nonprofit and volunteer initiatives focused on advocacy and elevating the needs and perspectives of people living with disabilities and rare conditions.
As Treasurer, Dana supports CAN’s financial stewardship and long-term sustainability, helping strengthen the organization’s financial processes, planning, and governance as it works to advance awareness, advocacy, education, and support for people and families affected by genetically defined forms of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
